Contacting prospective members

I do not see an immediate way of contacting participants of devpost who may have skills that our team needs, is there a way of messaging other participants on the platform or do we need to establish contact in person first?

    Good point, the tool is not particularely designed for this. Yet it would be very useful. We should find a work around. We should be able to somewhere add the WeChat ID. Typically they work for communication with discord or slack, probabely not ideal to introduce an additional chanel. They have a field to add linkedin, bur maybe also not ideal since not everybody has linkedin. If you or somebody else have good ideas for a workaround let me know, post it here

    I looked it up and apparently there should be an ability to display a "Send team-up request" on the platform, according to this article https://help.devpost.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022031411-Participants-page-forming-a-team . I am not sure if you have to enable it or it may have been removed.

    Here I recorded a quick tutorial how to connect with other participants, as a team that wants to add new team members, as a participant who wants to join a project or as a participant who want to connect with an other participant to launch a new project idea. Password zibs_china_2024
